That the Parliament congratulates the Royal Kennel Club on attaining a Royal prefix in recognition of its 150-year legacy as Britain’s oldest, and one of its most trusted, dog organisations; notes that the Royal Kennel Club has led the way in advancing dog health, research and education, investing millions to improve the lives of pedigree dogs, and recognises the work that is being carried out by the Royal Kennel Club to improve the long-term health and welfare of all dogs, and not solely pedigree breeds, by rolling out its Health Standard, which guides dog breeders in adhering to health testing requirements and makes it easier for puppy buyers to know what health tests responsible dog breeders of all dogs should be undertaking.
