That the Parliament congratulates the winners of the Local Government Information Unit (LGIU) Councillor Awards for 2025; understands that the LGIU awards were established to recognise the work of councillors in their local communities and that each nominee is considered by a panel of judges made up of a cross-party selection of councillors, local government experts and academics; recognises the winners of the awards from the Highlands and Islands region, including Cllr Kathleen Robertson and Cllr Marc Macrae from Moray Council, who won Leader of the Year and Innovator of the Year respectively, and congratulates all winners and nominees for being recognised for their contributions to local government.
