Girvan's Lend and Mend Hub Wins Project Excellence Award

That the Parliament congratulates Girvan Library’s Lend and Mend Hub for winning the Project Excellence 2025 award at the Scottish Library and Information Council (SLIC) Awards; understands that the awards highlight libraries and projects that work to have a positive impact on the community; recognises that the Lend and Mend Hub engages with local residents and encourages sustainable practices; notes that the hub allows residents to use equipment such as sewing machines, wallpaper strippers and power washers free of charge; commends all at the Lend and Mend Hub for their achievement, and wishes them the very best for the future.
