That the Parliament congratulates The Busy Bees craft club, which meets in Reuther Hall, Rutherglen, on its efforts to produce 900 knitted squares as part of a community knitting project for the Rutherglen 900 celebrations; notes that Rutherglen 900 is a community-led initiative to celebrate the 900th anniversary of receiving a Burgh Charter in 1126, giving it special trading rights and a place of importance in medieval Scotland; notes that a full programme of events is planned for 2026 in collaboration with local residents, local organisations, schools, community groups and volunteers; understands that The Busy Bees club has been running since 2005 and meets on a weekly basis to work on various crafting projects and share ideas, and will be working to turn the 900 squares into blankets to provide comfort and warmth throughout the community; commends its community spirit, and wishes The Busy Bees craft club all the best for this and future projects.
