That the Parliament congratulates Albert Ross, of Fraserburgh, on receiving a Best of Banff and Buchan Award from Aberdeenshire Council in recognition of his decades of service to the community; acknowledges Albert’s outstanding commitment to promoting health, wellbeing and personal development through martial arts and fitness; pays tribute to his work as founder and chairman of the Satorishido Martial Arts Club, which, it believes, has helped generations of young people build confidence, discipline and resilience; recognises the years of dedication Albert invested in transforming disused sheds at James Ramsay Park into a thriving community fitness facility, personally undertaking much of the renovation work to create a welcoming space that opened to the public in 2004, and celebrates his enduring contribution to Fraserburgh’s community spirit, inspiring others through his leadership, determination and lifelong commitment to helping others reach their potential.
