That the Parliament congratulates Evie, Poppy and Violet, who are pupils at Graeme High School in the Falkirk West Constituency, for being named on Young Women’s Movement Scotland’s 30 under 30 list; understands that 30 Under 30 celebrates young women and girls from across Scotland who are making changes in their lives, communities and wider society; notes that Evie, Poppy and Violet have been recognised for their leadership, compassion and creativity to make a real difference as Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP) taking part in the Young Women’s Movement’s Young Women Changemakers project; notes that they worked with young women across Scotland to create resources and training on rights, equality and empowerment and took part in national focus groups to share their experiences and ideas about relationships and sex education teaching in Scottish schools; recognises that as MVP, Violet, Poppy and Evie have each helped lead sessions with younger pupils on topics such as gender-based violence, body image, misogyny and respectful relationships, leading to their involvement in a BBC documentary about the MVP programme and raising money for Brothers in Arms Scotland and Women’s Aid; considers that it is vital that young people are able to talk and exchange opinions and ideas openly to help promote positive and healthy relationships by leading by example; further congratulates Evie, Poppy and Violet on being named in the 30 Under 30 list, and wishes them continued success in their work at school and in the future.
