That the Parliament congratulates Peeblesshire Youth Trust (SCIO) on receiving £90,000 from the Young Start fund to support its programme helping primary pupils transition to high school; notes that the programme offers weekly workshops, outdoor activities and monthly mentoring to build confidence, communication skills and wellbeing among children identified as needing additional support; understands that between 90 and 120 pupils will benefit directly over three years, with around 300 children and 150 volunteers involved in total, and recognises the value of the Young Start fund, which is delivered by the National Lottery Community Fund Scotland for the Scottish Government, in helping young people across Scotland realise their potential.
