Congratulating Scott Macgregor on Being Named Clinical Team Member of the Year at the Daffodil Standards Awards

That the Parliament congratulates Scott Macgregor on being named clinical team member of the year at the 2025 Daffodil Standards Awards, which honour the incredible work carried out by GP practice teams across the UK to promote palliative and end-of-life care; understands that he received this award because of his commitment to providing exceptional and compassionate end-of-life care to patients at Skerryvore Practice in Kirkwall, Orkney, while on placement as a fourth-year medicine student; recognises that, while he worked in Orkney, Scott was enrolled in the Scottish Graduate Entry Medicine programme, which is delivered in partnership by the Universities of St Andrews, Dundee and the Highlands and Islands, and focuses on rural medicine and community-based training; commends Scott for his dedication to ensuring that patients receive quality care through the entire end-of-life experience, and wishes him all the best in his future career in medicine.
