That the Parliament congratulates Jo Sutherland, from Orkney, on her fantastic achievement of trekking to Mount Everest Base Camp in aid of Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance and Samui Street Dogs; recognises what it sees as the incredible strength and resilience shown by Jo over the course of the eight day trek to reach Base Camp, which sits at an altitude of more than 5,300 metres; understands that Jo raised over £1,600 for Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance, which provides life-saving emergency services to people in remote and rural communities across Scotland, and Samui Street Dogs, which is dedicated to feeding and rehoming stray animals in Koh Samui, Thailand; believes that the funds raised will make a huge difference to the lives of the people and animals that these two charities support; thanks Jo for her fundraising and awareness raising efforts, and wishes those involved with both charities all the best for the future.
