That the Parliament congratulates the Oncology Team at Forth Valley Hospital on being presented with the Myeloma UK Clinical Service Excellence Programme (CSEP) Award; notes that the award was given by the blood cancer charity, Myeloma UK, in recognition of its outstanding care and dedication to people with the condition; further notes that its members were praised for their efforts to improve patients' quality of life and eagerness to listen to their needs; understands that myeloma is an incurable blood cancer that claims the lives of an estimated 3,000 people in the UK each year; recognises that living with myeloma presents enormous physical and mental challenges and that the care required for patients can be complex; commends the Oncology Team's commitment to providing patients with a high standard of personalised care, which is tailored to their needs; congratulates it on its award, and thanks it for the important work that it does for patients and their families in the Falkirk East constituency and across Forth Valley.
