That the Parliament welcomes the delivery of construction pathways at Prestwick Academy, which features the delivery of Build Your Future events to inspire the next generation to consider a career in the sector; understands that the first delivery of a National 5 Creative Industries Roof Slating will be delivered by KRB Group Ayr Ltd in collaboration with the National Federation of Roofing Contractors, Historic Environment Scotland, Scottish Traditional Building Forum and South Ayrshire Council; believes that the development and evolution of the construction pathways will assist young people to make informed decisions about their career choices, while ensuring parity of esteem with other subject choices; further believes that this demonstrates the work being done to address the attainment gap, and congratulates the organisations, schools, staff and students that are participating in the pilots.
