That the Parliament congratulates the Port of Aberdeen on welcoming a record 43,000 cruise passengers in 2025,which is a 79% increase on the previous year; believes that this achievement establishes Aberdeen as one of the UK’s fastest-growing cruise destinations, with over 65 vessel calls during the season; notes the key role of the new South Harbour in enabling this growth by accommodating larger liners; recognises what it sees as the significant economic benefits to the north east region, including tourism and business boost, and wishes the port continued success in expanding its cruise operations.
