That the Parliament congratulates Lawrence Taylor of Bothwell, Lanarkshire, on achieving his lifelong ambition by graduating with a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Creative Writing from the Open University at the age of 88; believes that his achievement demonstrates that learning has no age limit and provides inspiration to people of all ages; recognises the value of institutions such as the Open University in supporting mature and lifelong learners, and encourages all Scots to embrace lifelong learning and personal development.
