That the Parliament congratulates MAKAR Ltd on winning the Iver Salvesen Award for Combatting Climate Change at the Scottish Land and Estates 2025 Helping It Happen Awards; understands that MAKAR is an architect-led design, manufacture and construction company that uses environmentally friendly building materials, including Scottish-grown timber; further understands that its off-site construction methods have been recognised as part of the future of new house building; notes that MAKAR was founded in 2002 and that it has delivered over 250 net zero homes across Scotland, and wishes everyone involved in the MAKAR team well for the future.
