MacMillan Skills Hub in Edinburgh Shortlisted for Prestigious Regeneration Award

That the Parliament congratulates Capital City Partnership on the MacMillan Skills Hub being shortlisted in the Removing Barriers to Employability category of the 2025 SURF Awards for Best Practice in Community Regeneration; believes that the SURF Awards are a prestigious national platform that identifies and celebrates outstanding examples of innovation, partnership working and impact in community regeneration across Scotland; recognises what it sees as the vital role that the MacMillan Skills Hub plays in supporting individuals to access tailored employability support, skills development and pathways into sustainable work; commends the hub’s commitment to inclusivity and its person-centred approach to addressing the complex barriers faced by people, and wishes the team every success at the awards and in their continued efforts to improve lives and strengthen communities through meaningful employment opportunities.
