That the Parliament commends the fundraising efforts of Aberdeen International Airport’s Jet Set Spin event; recognises that the event is a collaboration between Aberdeen International Airport, Sport Aberdeen, and AberNecessities; supports the unique approach taken towards fundraising, particularly the use of Aberdeen International Airport’s operational runway to hold a spin class; understands that the funds raised will go to AberNecessities, which provides disadvantaged families with baby essentials, and Sport Aberdeen’s SPACE programme, which supports care experienced children in improving their physical health, and commends the efforts of those taking part in the event to raise money for what it sees as two vital local organisations.
