That the Parliament congratulates BE Uniforms on marking what it sees as over 30 years of success as a leading uniform provider; acknowledges its origins in Duns in 1989 as a family-run embroidery store; recognises the leadership of the managing directors, Ross and William Smillie, in building a company that continues to grow and flourish; commends its contribution to the community through the supply of school, work and teamwear, as well as the more than 150 jobs that it provides in the rural community; highlights what it sees as the positive impact that this has on the area's economy; applauds its recent achievement on being awarded the tender to provide kit and merchandise for Team Scotland at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, and considers that such businesses are important, binging value to communities across Scotland.
