As an amendment to motion S6M-18779 in the name of Murdo Fraser (Improving Scotland’s Finances), insert at end “; further believes that fairness must lie at the heart of any welfare reform, which ensures that the most vulnerable in society are always protected and that future economic growth goes hand in hand with tackling climate change and improving the health and welfare of the working population, and calls for greater measures to assist those who are unable to work due to a lack of mental health or additional support needs, to ensure that everyone in Scotland is able to maximise their potential and contribute to the economy in a way that is suitable and safe for them.”
