Beacon of Peace Scotland 5k Charity Walk

That the Parliament congratulates all those involved in organising the Beacon of Peace Charity Walk 2025, scheduled to take place on 7 September 2025; notes that those taking part will register at Baitur Rahman Mosque at 9.00 am before setting off from Kelvingrove Park at 10.30 am; understands that the walk is open to the public to join as a family day out, socialise, make new friends, enjoy free lunch and most importantly, raise funds for charities across Glasgow, including Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity, Beatson Cancer Charity, Macmillan Cancer Support, CHAS, Humanity First and many more, and wishes participants and the organiser, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association Scotland, all the best ahead of the event.
