That the Parliament commends a recent successful fundraising event at the East Renfrewshire Golf Club to generate financial support for charity; understands that the event raised a total of £11,215 for the Beatson Cancer Charity; recognises that the event was the third annual fundraiser held by Persimmon Homes West Scotland at the golf club and it involved a range of activities, including a Beat the Pro contest, alongside the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin competitions; understands that a total of 80 attendees were present at the event, and congratulates everyone involved for coming together to support the Beatson.
