Linda Hanna Standing Down as Chair of Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC)

That the Parliament notes the announcement that Linda Hanna MBE is to stand down as chair of Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC); recognises that Linda Hanna became the first female chair of the SRUC board in March 2022; welcomes that during her time as chair, the SRUC has gained Taught Degree Awarding Powers and opened Scotland’s first school of veterinary medicine in more than 150 years, while continuing to educate the next generation of industry leading experts in agricultural and rural fields at its campuses across Scotland, including at its Craibstone campus in Aberdeen, and wishes Linda Hanna all the best in her future pursuits.
