That the Parliament congratulates the team of dietitians at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on what it sees as their outstanding success in transforming recycling practices within NHS Grampian; welcomes the reported dramatic increase in recycling of oral nutritional supplements and enteral tube feeds in the critical care department, from 6% to over 80% in a single year, as part of the "Recycle Plastic, It’s Fantastic" initiative; commends NHS Grampian for demonstrating that it is possible, within health care settings, to exceed the Scottish Government’s 70% recycling target; welcomes the news that staff have expanded awareness to include other items, such as food containers, IV bags and soft plastics, and understands that this recycling model has spread to NHS England, and encourages all NHS boards to adopt and scale similar programmes and to embed them within NHS Scotland’s net zero ambitions.
