That the Parliament notes the seven parks in South Ayrshire that have received a prestigious Keep Scotland Beautiful Green Flag Award; understands that Belleisle, Ayr, received the award for the seventh consecutive year, Newton park, Ayr, for the fifth, and Knochcushan and Orchard Gardens in Girvan, for the third; further understands that the Fullarton Estate in Troon, Ayr Cemetery and Rozelle Park, Ayr, also each received the award, and commends the work of all those who contribute to the upkeep of the greenspaces, as well as of Keep Scotland Beautiful, which supports parks and greenspaces in their ability to enable exercise, improve mental wellbeing and provide safe spaces for play.
