  • Submitted by: Annie Wells, Glasgow, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Tuesday, 15 July 2025
  • Motion reference: S6M-18319

That the Parliament congratulates the fantastic team at Scullion LAW on what it sees as its outstanding support of Home-Start Glasgow North; notes with appreciation the team’s recent hands-on work to clean, weed and tidy the charity’s garden, creating a safe and welcoming outdoor space for early years children to enjoy over the summer months; acknowledges that this garden makeover is just one example of Scullion LAW’s strong and ongoing partnership with Home-Start Glasgow, which, it believes, demonstrates a deep commitment to supporting families in need in the community; recognises the firm’s fundraising initiatives, including donating £1 from every invoice and taking part in events such as the Glasgow Kiltwalk, through which it has raised significant funds for Home-Start since 2021; celebrates what it believes is the firm’s well-deserved recognition with the Corporate Volunteer Award at the Home-Start UK Volunteer Awards 2025, and commends Scullion LAW for its lasting impact in enabling Home-Start to expand services, train more volunteers and build resilient, thriving communities.
