East Lothian Residents in The King's Birthday Honours List

That the Parliament congratulates the nine East Lothian residents who have been recognised in The King’s Birthday Honours List 2025; acknowledges the particularly large number of East Lothian residents in this year’s Honours list; commends Professor Gabriele Hegerl on being appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire for her contribution to climate science; congratulates John Hawkins on being appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire for public service; applauds Professor Peter Higgins on being appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire for services to the environment and outdoor education; celebrates Gareth Wood and Nicola Wood on being appointed Members of the Order of the British Empire for services to health and charity; commends Marjory Macfarlane on being appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire for services to heritage; congratulates Rab Moran on being awarded the British Empire Medal for services to the community of Haddington; commends John Moos on being awarded the British Empire Medal for charitable services, and applauds Karen Bradley on being awarded the British Empire Medal for services to resilience in Scotland.
