That the Parliament celebrates Florence House Care Home, Govan, on its 25th anniversary; commends the care home for its recent care inspectorate report, which, it understands, praised the care that it was providing across the board; understands that person-centred outcomes are at the heart of Florence House's ethos; notes that it offers a range of activities, including cooking classes in its skills kitchen, silent disco, fitness classes, games cafe, and football activities, all designed to enable residents to improve their mobility and cognitive abilities; considers that its efforts to involve residents in the community by linking up with local groups like Govan Men's Shed, Gilded Lily, walking groups, and many others, provides residents with a sense of inclusion, belonging, and fulfilment; echoes the care home's belief that it is never too late to achieve your goals and live a fun and fulfilled life; thanks the management, staff and volunteers for their hard work and dedication to improving lives for the past 25 years, and wishes everyone all the very best for the future.
