Condolences on the Death of First Female Provost of Perth and Kinross

That the Parliament acknowledges the death of Jean McCormack, who was the first female Provost of Perth and Kinross Council; notes that she served as Provost for the region from 1992 to 1996, also served as a Conservative councillor for the Carse of Gowrie ward for several years and was well known in the area; further notes that Mrs McCormack was keen to support the twinning links between Perth and Aschaffenburg, in Bavaria, and Cognac, and expresses its condolences and sympathy to the family and friends of Mrs McCormack.
