Louise Edgerton of Hyndland Secondary School Awarded Headteacher of the Year at Tes Schools Awards 2025

That the Parliament congratulates Louise Edgerton, headteacher of Hyndland Secondary School in Glasgow, on being named Headteacher of the Year at the 2025 Tes Schools Awards in London; recognises this as a major achievement for Ms Edgerton and for the wider Hyndland Secondary School community; notes that she has been headteacher at the school since 2018, and that her leadership, compassion and commitment are deeply valued by staff, pupils and families; celebrates this national recognition as what it considers to be a moment of pride for the local area and for all of Glasgow’s state schools, and wishes Ms Edgerton and everyone at Hyndland Secondary School continued success.
