During dissolution, there are no MSPs and no parliamentary business can take place.

Roon the Toon 2025

That the Parliament celebrates another successful year of Roon the Toon 2025; notes that the yearly 10 kilometre race was held on 8 June 2025 with 2,700 entrants; further notes that there were 2,125 starters and 2,120 finishers and a brand new course record of 29 minutes 41 seconds; understands that there were approximately 52% of runners from East Ayrshire, 24% of runners from the rest of Ayrshire and 24% of runners from the rest of Scotland, the rest of the UK and Ireland; recognises Roon the Toon as a brilliant event for the town of Kilmarnock, and sends a massive well done to everyone who took part.
