Renfrew Trinity High School Celebrating its 50th Anniversary

  • Submitted by: Neil Bibby, West Scotland, Scottish Labour.
  • Date lodged: Tuesday, 10 June 2025
  • Motion reference: S6M-17891

That the Parliament congratulates Renfrew Trinity High School as it reaches its 50th anniversary; notes that the school was formerly named Renfrew High School before moving to its current site at Glebe Street in 1975 due to a larger school building being needed; recognises that the school serves multiple areas of Renfrewshire, including Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton, Gallowhill and, of course, Renfrew; understands that the school, in celebrating the landmark, has asked former pupils from over the years to get in touch with pictures and stories that they have of their time at Renfrew Trinity High; acknowledges the efforts of the staff over the years to grow and maintain the school, and congratulates current head teacher, Paul Marshall, on leading Trinity High into its 50th year.
