That the Parliament congratulates Pregnancy Counselling and Care (Scotland) on being shortlisted for Partnership of the Year at the 2025 Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) Scottish Charity Awards; notes that the nomination recognises the organisation’s impactful collaboration with the Gyle Shopping Centre in support of what it sees as its vital Baby Bank service; commends the charity’s nearly 50 years of dedicated service in Edinburgh and the Lothians, offering practical and emotional support to individuals and families affected by pregnancy, baby loss, and early parenthood; acknowledges its provision of Baby Packs to families in need, and its specialist, free perinatal counselling for those facing grief, trauma, and mental health challenges; recognises that, in the past year alone, the charity supported over 560 families, many of whom were experiencing poverty, homelessness, or social isolation, and wishes Pregnancy Counselling and Care (Scotland) continued success in what it sees as its compassionate and essential work.
