Recognising the Manda Centre and the Publication of "Me: A Copy of Personal Stories"

That the Parliament recognises the Manda Centre and the publication of Me: A Copy of Personal Stories; notes what it sees as the important work of the Manda Centre and the SafeTime peer group in supporting individuals and families affected by murder and trauma; welcomes the publication of Me: A Copy of Personal Stories, which is a powerful collection of real-life experiences shared by survivors; acknowledges the courage and strength of those who have contributed their personal stories to this deeply moving book; commends the Hamilton-based Manda Centre for providing a safe and compassionate space for survivors to connect, process grief and navigate the complexities of the justice system, and expresses gratitude for the centre’s continued dedication to advocacy, healing, and justice for those affected by violent crime.
