That the Parliament welcomes the recent announcement that a commemorative plaque is to be installed at the birthplace of footballing legend and local lad, Denis Law; notes that Denis, known as "The Lawman", was born in the Printfield area of the Aberdeen Donside constituency, where the plaque will be placed, and forms part of the wider Denis Law Legacy Trail; understands that the Denis Law Legacy Trust submitted an application to Aberdeen City Council, and that the application received unanimous agreement at a meeting of the council's Finance and Resources Committee, and commends the efforts of all involved in the planning and in bringing the Denis Law Legacy Trail to life.
