That the Parliament congratulates South Ayrshire's We Hae Meat, which has won the Energy Transition Scotland Award at the 2024 VIBES Scottish Environment Business Awards; understands that the winners "highlighted leading work in nature-based solutions, energy transitions, circular economy models, and sustainable transport initiatives proving that what’s good for the environment is also good for business"; recognises that We Hae Meat operates from its purpose-built site located on the family farm, Cairnhill, in the beautiful Girvan Valley, Carrick; further recognises that the site incorporates its own spacious, climate-controlled hanging chills, which allow it to expertly manage the maturing process of the meat, and specially designed product development, butchery and recipe preparation areas; commends the work of We Hae Meat, and wishes it every success for the future.
