Congratulating Drumpellier Cricket Club on Celebrating 175 Years

That the Parliament congratulates Drumpellier Cricket Club on celebrating its 175th anniversary, having been founded in 1850; recognises its status as one of the oldest sporting clubs in the world and the significant role it has played in promoting the sport of cricket in Scotland; acknowledges the club’s long-standing contribution to the local community by providing opportunities for people of all ages to participate in the sport and to enjoy the benefits of mutual friendship and competition; commends the dedication of its past and present members, who have helped sustain its success over nearly two centuries, and wishes the Drumpellier Cricket Club continued success for many years to come.
