Paisley's STAR Project Celebrates its 25th Birthday

That the Parliament congratulates the STAR Project, which is based in Paisley, on its 25th anniversary; recognises that the charity, which was established in 1999, helps the community in many ways, including people experiencing mental health and domestic abuse; notes that it also teaches people new skills such as literacy and art; understands that the group was created to assist adults and children living in poverty throughout Paisley and the surrounding area and has helped 58,949 people since its establishment; notes that the STAR Project held a birthday party celebrating the milestone on 15 November 2024, and recognises that it is planning for the future as it aims to further develop its outreach by creating a new hub in the town.
