That the Parliament welcomes the grant of a facilities award of £56,750 from sportscotland’s Cycling Facilities Fund (CCF) to a cycling project in Glasgow; understands that Glasgow City Council will receive funding for the installation of toilets and storage containers at the Cathkin Braes Cycle Hub; recognises that the project aims to support wider community access for sport and physical activity in the area and allow greater use for coaching and youth participation; welcomes investment that builds on the growing interest in cycling following the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships, and hopes that the new facilities will encourage more people to take part in cycling in the area.
