That the Parliament praises the Muirkirk Gala Day Committee for securing £5,669 of funding from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that this funding will be used for its annual gala day; notes that the committee gives up its time throughout the year, planning and organising events to raise funds to keep the gala day going annually to get the community together for a fun day, and wishes it well for a successful day on 14 September 2024.
