That the Parliament congratulates The Garage nightclub, on Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street in the Glasgow Kelvin constituency, on its 30-year anniversary; understands that it first opened its doors in 1994, and has since welcomed up to 1,800 partygoers per night and hosted thousands of live gigs, including acts such as Biffy Clyro, Kasabian, Oasis, One Direction and Prince; recognises what it sees as the important part that it plays in Glasgow’s night-time economy, and wishes all at Hold Fast Entertainment very best wishes for the anniversary celebrations and the future.
