25 Years of Kingdom FM

That the Parliament congratulates Kingdom FM on celebrating its 25th anniversary; welcomes that the radio station has been broadcasting music and news, and celebrating Fife, for a quarter of a century since its launch in Markinch on 5 October 1998; notes that Kingdom FM provides a focus on local issues and community involvement, including through Kingdom Action, which is a community feature broadcast providing information and advice to listeners; highlights the presence of Kingdom FM at roadshows and public events across Fife; recognises that the station hosts the Kingdom FM Local Hero Awards each year to honour the contributions that unsung individuals, businesses, schools and voluntary organisations make to the Fife community, and wishes everyone at the station the very best for many more years of successful local broadcasting.
