That the Parliament notes the announcement that Ryan McCuaig, chair of the board at Who Cares? Scotland, will be standing down from his position in June 2023; recognises what it sees as the outstanding contribution and service that Ryan has dedicated to the charity; understands that Ryan was appointed as chair in 2019, previously having been a care experienced member within the charity; recognises that, during his time as chair at Who Cares? Scotland, the charity launched the National Advocacy Helpline for care experienced people of all ages, relocated to its new national office and recruited CEO, Louise Hunter; notes that Who Cares? Scotland is Scotland's only national, independent membership organisation for care experienced people, with the aim of working to secure a lifetime of equality, respect and love for care experienced people in Scotland; believes that Ryan was instrumental in the "Our Community, Our Voice, Our Future" strategy and the launching of the fundraising partnership with John Lewis; thanks Ryan for what it sees as the support, guidance and leadership that he has provided to Who Cares? Scotland, and wishes Ryan well as he focuses on his legal career.
