That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen boxer, Leo Jamieson, on winning gold at the prestigious Pirkka boxing tournament in Finland; understands that the 16-year-old came out on top to take the 54kg title, beating the highly-rated Swedish champion by unanimous decision in the final; notes that the Aberdeen teen, who trains at CAIN boxing club in Sheddocksley, was also named Boxer of the Tournament, surpassing 140 boxers from around the world to the honours; understands that the Pirkka tournament was founded 35 years ago in Tampere, Finland, and previous winners include Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather, and wishes Leo and all those involved at CAIN boxing club well for future competitions.
