That the Parliament congratulates Glasgow University Charity Fashion Show (GUCFS) on its incredible efforts, following its ninth annual fashion show, which raised £44,005.20 for Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis; understands that GUCFS is Glasgow’s largest student fundraiser, and one of the largest in the UK; further understands that GUCFS exists to raise money for its charitable partners in Glasgow, which have previously included Refuweegee, Glasgow Women’s Aid and Glasgow’s Golden Generation; celebrates the dedication and effort of all involved, including GUCFS’s executive committee and student volunteers, as well as its local designers and sponsors; thanks GUCFS for its incredible support and dedication, which, it considers, allows for these important charities to continue to provide what it sees as crucial services throughout Glasgow, and wishes GUCFS all the best with its future fashion shows and fundraising endeavours.
