Paths for All East Dunbartonshire

  • Submitted by: Marie McNair, Clydebank and Milngavie, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Thursday, 25 May 2023
  • Motion reference: S6M-09104

That the Parliament recognises the work of Paths for All in East Dunbartonshire; understands that the charity runs health walks every Friday in various locations across the local authority area, with two trained leaders leading each session; further understands that these walks are designed to be accessible to people of all fitness levels, with the routes being flat and participants walking to the pace of the slowest walker; believes that this is a great way for people to get back into fitness, whilst also bringing in a social aspect, benefiting both mental and physical health, and encourages residents to get involved.
