That the Parliament congratulates the Barrowland Ballroom, in Glasgow, on being named best music venue in the UK by Time Out magazine, after dozens of British artists were asked to choose their favourite venue, and recognises that the Barrowland has been an iconic institution in the city, which has been celebrated by Glaswegians since it first opened its doors in 1934.
