Musselburgh Athletic Supporters Raise more than £3,000 for the Young Lives vs Cancer Charity

That the Parliament congratulates Musselburgh Athletic and its supporters on raising more than £3,000 for the charity, Young Lives vs Cancer; understands that supporters who attended a recent match contributed to a match day fundraiser for the charity, alongside other donations from the Staggs Bar's collection cans; further understands that Musselburgh Athletic has held previous fundraisers for the charity, which raised more than £10,000; notes that the charity aims to help children and young people up to the age of 25, and their families, find the strength to face the challenges of having cancer; recognises what it sees as the importance of charities such as Young Lives vs Cancer in helping young people and families through the challenges they face, financially and emotionally, at a difficult time in their lives; thanks Musselburgh Athletic and its supporters for all their fundraising efforts, and wishes them the best going forward.
