That the Parliament congratulates the pupils and staff at Douglas Academy in Milngavie for their strong inspection report in January 2023; understands that the inspection team found that the school's young people are highly motivated to achieve, highly articulate, and demonstrate high levels of responsibility; further understands that the pupils' attainment from S1 to S3 and in National Qualifications is consistently outstanding; acknowledges the young people’s successful attainment and contribution to the life of the school and the wider community; praises the evaluation of attainment and achievement as what it considers to be an outstanding and sector-leading example of best practice; encourages Douglas Academy to continue to build on its existing practice to provide a consistently engaging learning experience for its pupils, and wishes the school every success in the future.
