That the Parliament congratulates Ayr’s Nick Bryden on being awarded the "Parkinson’s Advanced MasterClass 42" project accolade by the Neurology Academy; notes that Nick is a specialist nurse at Biggart Hospital in Prestwick, treating patients with Parkinson’s disease; understands that Nick received the award for his recent work, which helps to keep track of patients’ medication needs; further understands that Nick’s project was titled "improving timely medication access for people with Parkinson’s in hospital through combined use of electronic records and education"; acknowledges that Nick’s work helps to reduce staff time by establishing a patient's medication needs and ensuring that patients receive the best treatment tailored for them; understands that Nick’s extensive reporting systems have combined the work between the Parkinson’s team and general wards, with a better understanding of Parkinson’s medication; further understands that it is hoped that Nick’s project will be introduced across the country’s NHS boards; considers this to be an outstanding achievement, demonstrating Nick’s commitment to his role, and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
