Universities Team GB Curlers Win Gold at World University Games

That the Parliament warmly congratulates Universities Team GB after winning the gold medal for curling at the winter edition of the FISA World University Games 2023, staged at Lake Placid, New York State, from 12 to 22 January 2023; notes that the team, skipped by James Craik, from Edzell, Mark Watt, from Auchterarder, Angus Bryce, from Kelso, Blair Haswell, from Stranraer, and Jack Carrick, from Dumfries, won 10 games out of 11, beating the hosts, USA, in the final, and wishes the team every success in future competitions.
