That the Parliament congratulates Ethan Loch on reaching the grand final of the BBC Young Musician of the Year Awards 2022; acknowledges that the 18-year-old pianist won the keyboard final to claim his place in the grand final of the prestigious competition; notes that Ethan was born with a genetic condition and diagnosed as blind from birth, and has been playing the piano since he was four years of age; considers that it takes an incredible amount of hard work and dedication to achieve this level of musical craftsmanship while being visually impaired; understands that Ethan feels that the music is like a language to him, and uses his emotions and ability to pitch sounds in any frequency to communicate with the listeners of his music; congratulates Ethan on reaching the grand final of the BBC Young Musician of the Year 2022, and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
